Celina Ohio Wedding | Kara + Cole
I feel like its been forever since I first chatted with Kara about her wedding day. To be exact, it was last December when she first contacted me. Her and I both have type A personalities so I knew we would work so well together! Without missing a beat, she incorporated every little detail to make the day oh so perfect.
Kara and Cole met three years ago when they were on a kayaking trip with mutual friends. With Cole training for the Marine Corps Reserve and Kara finishing up school at Ohio State University, they first had to do the long distance thing as they began their relationship. Once Cole returned from his trainings, they officially began dating!
Their wedding day began as the entire bridal party prepped themselves at a local Air BNB along Grand Lake in Celina Ohio. After what has felt like the longest winter ever, we finally had the most gorgeous spring day! The skies were as blue as could be with zero cloud coverage and the sun bursting around us. The air was crisp, but no rain or snow which is always a positive thing in my book!
After everyone was ready we all headed to the downtown area of Celina, which is so ridiculously adorable! The old stone and brick buildings surrounding the town gave us such a charming background. Kara and Cole shared the sweetest first look as Kara showed off her stunning wedding gown from Brides and Beyond. We all enjoyed so much laughter as you can tell from the photos! The bridal party were some of the most genuinely nice, hilarious people I have ever met. I had such a blast with each of them!
Next was go time for the ceremony which was held at Grand Lake United Methodist Church. The flower girl, Irena, stole the show as she dropped petal for petal down the aisle then cheered with delight that she emptied her entire basket! She had all the guests laughing. It was such a sweet moment. Kara was escorted down the aisle by her father with joy as she met Cole at the altar. The two exchanged vows, rings, and sealed their marriage with a unity candle surrounded by their close friends and families.
Everyone celebrated the couple at The Grand Lake Galleria Conference Center. It was very obvious to see that they have such a great group of friends and family that loved on them the entire evening. What a joy it was to capture that love for this amazing couple.
