Kailey + Cody | Bucyrus Wedding Photographer
The forecast for Kailey and Cody's wedding was calling for rain all day. Kailey and I had emailed each other back and forth on how we would handle the situation. I tried to reassure her that there is no need to stress over something that is completely out of our control! On my drive to their wedding it was pouring all morning at my home. Thankfully I had to travel about ninety minutes north to Bucyrus where the weather was a completely different story! It was sunny and the best summer breeze was blowing. Their day couldn't have been more perfect, from the beautiful flowers to the summer evening sunset. We began the day at Aumiller Park for the couple's first look. The emotion these two shared is exactly why I have such a deep LOVE for first looks! They're awesome! All of a sudden everything became very real once Cody saw Kailey in her wedding gown. They shared the sweetest embrace and tears. I loved being able to capture these genuine moments on their wedding day.Once the couple was married at their church the evening was spent with several hundreds of their friends and family. Cody, is one lucky guy! Through all the toasts, speeches, and events at the reception it was evident how thoughtful Kailey is to all of her loved ones. From a surprise 30th anniversary cake for the groom and brides parents to a special kids garter and bouquet toss. She's such an amazing women!Enjoy my favorites from this beautiful summer wedding!
